Our campus

Swakopmund

ADN occupies a site of over 16 hectares, featuring several buildings.

The main ADN building houses the residents living with dementia; this is also where practical training sessions take place.

In addition, there are buildings where ADN staff reside, the CrossCare office, and the facility where we prepare the nurses in our program.

You will share your bedroom with one or more other nurses. You will have your own wardrobe and locker, and the rooms are equipped with electricity. There are also two kitchens and several showers and bathrooms available.

There is a large outdoor living area. A space where you can study alone or with others, and where you can enjoy cooking meals together in our outdoor kitchen.

On your days off, you may stay on-site or visit your family. We also organize fun outings, such as trips to the desert or the beach.

You can also hire a taxi, either alone or in a group, to take scenic tours through the sand dunes.

Unannounced visitors are not permitted. However, we do organize occasional family days when everyone is welcome. We must strictly enforce this rule because people living with dementia also reside on the premises; they deserve peace and privacy, which is of the utmost importance.
