The first phase began in July 2026.
Facilities comprising 10 bedrooms, bathrooms, two kitchens, and an office are being created on the ADN site in Swakopmund.
Existing buildings are being converted to eventually accommodate 10 nurses for a period of four months. They need this time to gain practical experience in caring for people with dementia, all in full alignment with ADN’s vision.
Above, you can see the existing buildings. The building in the foreground will house the kitchens, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and office space. The building at the rear will accommodate another eight bedrooms along with various shower rooms.
These are major renovations. There are no standard provisions here for sewage, water supply, or electricity. Everything is custom-made, but a solution is found for every challenge.
