Documents

We require a significant amount of information for your work permit in the Netherlands. It is absolutely essential that we receive these documents on time.

We also ask you once again to ensure that all contact details and your full name are entered correctly and completely.

Incorrect or missing information will lead to further delays or even a final rejection.

Every applicant must provide various mandatory and desired documents (evidence) when applying.

The mandatory documents are:

An authenticated copy of your passport and your ID
An authenticated copy of your professional qualification (e.g. Nursing diploma / certificate)
An authenticated copy of your grade lists of the nursing school / bachelor (every year)
An authenticated copy of the overview of subjects that comes with your professional qualification
An authenticated copy of a description of the training programme (curriculum or Syllabus, with your name on it)
A declaration of competence (This document must make clear that you are competent to work in the profession for which you are sending an application form in the country where you obtained your professional qualification)
An authenticated copy of your diploma of your secundary school / high school
Your curriculum vitae (CV)

Additional documents:

A declaration (which may be from your employer) about your practical and/or professional experience
Certificates or diplomas for courses and/or training in your profession

An authenticated copy is a copy of an original document. The copy bears an original hallmark stamp (ink stamp) and a signature or initials of an authorized organization or person. The hallmark certifies that the content of the copy is identical to the original.

Please note: an apostille does not replace a certified copy. An apostille only proves that the signature on the document is genuine, but says nothing about the content of the document. For that reason an apostille is not accepted.

Correct uploads

Make sure each document is separate. In other words, do not upload a single large document containing multiple copies.

The images or scans you upload must be very clear. The official stamps need to be as clear as possible. They can be in black and white or in color. You will usually get the best quality by taking a good photo. You can crop the image if necessary, but make sure everything is as clear as possible.

If the file or photo is too large (in terms of MBs), try reducing its size. There are free tools or apps available on your phone for this purpose.

Practical experience

During your study or afterwards you did practical experience training or you had a job. Please list the organization, the dates you worked and the position you held. Mention as much as possible. Also mention for example the vaccination programs which you helped.
