From training to
impact: dementia care
in Namibia
We work closely with Alzheimer Dementia Namibia (ADN) – located in Swakopmund, Namibia. It is a family home where people with dementia live, receiving support and care as soon as it becomes truly necessary. The care provided is human-centered, following a vision and approach from which the Netherlands could still learn. Here, we train nurses to live and work in the Netherlands.
