The purpose of the Organisation is to create a sustainable international ecosystem for knowledge exchange between Namibia and the Netherlands, in which healthcare professionals serve as carriers of knowledge, care philosophy and culture, while acting as the connecting link between the healthcare systems of both countries. To achieve this purpose, the Organisation develops, initiates and coordinates international collaboration programmes that contribute to the sustainable strengthening of healthcare in both countries.
The Organisation fulfils a connecting and coordinating role within this ecosystem by facilitating collaboration between Dutch healthcare organisations, Namibian healthcare professionals, Namibian healthcare institutions, knowledge organisations and educational institutions. It supports the implementation of these programmes through programme coordination, project management, stakeholder engagement and the alignment of all participating parties, with the objective of promoting sustainable collaboration, mutual knowledge development and long-term social impact. The Organisation focuses on connecting organisations, people and expertise.
