impact: dementia care
in Namibia

We work closely with Alzheimer Dementia Namibia (ADN) – located in Swakopmund, Namibia. It is a family home where people with dementia live, receiving support and care as soon as it becomes truly necessary. The care provided is human-centered, following a vision and approach from which the Netherlands could still learn. We want to make a meaningful contribution to Namibia. In the care for people living with dementia, spreading knowledge about dementia and the vision of ADN, and offering (unemployed) nurses a future.

Working and Living in The Netherlands

We offer graduate nurses the opportunity to work and live in The Netherlands.

Knowledge about Dementia Care

Specific knowledge about the different forms of dementia and how to deal with dementia in your environment.
